Thomas Beatie, the transgender man who was known as the “pregnant man,” gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Sunday. The birth, at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon, was natural.
Mr Beatie, 34, was born a woman (Tracey Lagondino) but had his breasts surgically removed and began taking males hormones several years ago. Born a woman, Beatie, 34, leaped to prominence around the world in April when he revealed he was pregnant.

It’s a girl for Tori Spelling and hubby Dean McDermott. Stella Doreen McDermott was born Monday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.
“I’ve always wanted a little girl since I’m such a girlie,” Spelling told People.com. “I immediately started crying. I couldn’t believe it.”
Stella is their second child together, big brother Liam Aaron is 15 months old. There’s also nine-year-old, Jack, from McDermott’s previous marriage.

Cate Blanchett, the 38-year-old Oscar winner, gave birth to a healthy 7 pounds, 9 ounces baby boy in Sydney, Australia on Sunday. “All are well and very happy,” said Tim McKeough, the spokesperson for the Sydney Theatre Company, where the couple serve as co-artistic directors.
Blanchett has named her newest son Ignatius Martin Upton. Cate and her playwright husband Andrew Upton already have two sons: Dashiell John, 6, and Roman Robert, 3.

Actress Halle Berry has revealed the name that she has chosen for her newborn daughter. Halle Berry and her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry have decided to call her “Nahla Ariela Aubry”. Nahla is an Arabic name meaning “Honeybee” and Ariela is a Hebrew name meaning “Lion of God.”
The Oscar winner delivered the baby at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles on Sunday morning. Berry told ‘Access Hollywood’: “We didn’t have a name picked out until just before we left the hospital.” “For us it was hard to name the most important person in our life until we met her,” she added.

The names of Jennifer Lopez’s newborn twins have finally been officially released to the public. Simon Fields, Lopez’ manager, confirmed the babies’ names to People magazine. As previously rumored, the newest members of the famous family are named Max and Emme.
The twins were born at at North Shore University Hospital in New York on February 22, with 5lbs 7oz Emme arriving about 15 minutes before her 6lbs brother.

Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins (a boy and a girl) early Friday morning. The babies were born on New York’s Long Island, with the 5-pound, 7-ounce girl arriving first, followed by her 6-pound brother minutes later.
Lopez and Marc Anthony married in 2004. The twins are her first children, and his fourth and fifth.
Names have yet to be released.
